HOW TO USE
SHIELD ☼ ☾
1. Clean and dry the wound or scar.
2. Cut Shield tape to desired size, peel off the backing liner and apply the adhesive side to the skin, ensuring you have fully covered the wound or scar.
3. Shield tape is breathable, flexible and comfortable to wear 24 hours a day.
SKIN TIP
• Remove Shield for showering and re-apply afterwards, once the skin is dry.
• Each piece of Shield tape can be used for up to 3 days or until no longer adhesive.
• Continue to use Shield tape for up to 12 months or until desired level of healing and scar revision is achieved.
POST TREATMENT
Non-ablative & Semi-ablative: Suitable to use immediately post scar revision treatment to encourage skin healing.
Surgical:
Can be used on the skin once sutures have been removed. If you’re unsure, consult with your Doctor for advice on when to start using Shield scar revision tape.
